Just destroyed my mirror. - Guild Wars Forums

Last night got to my mirror the first time, just to see how tough he was i didnt gimp my skill bar to see how I would do. Im a el/ne and he made short work of me the first time.

Then i loaded up my skill bar with as many necro sacrifice life spells as i could (think 5 of them). In about 8 seconds he took probably 60% of his life lol. I beat him about 6 seconds after that. It was the shortest fight ive seen. Whats the record for beating your mirror. Mine is 14-18(max)seconds.

Elems have it pretty easy on the mirror. And your mirror has the disadvantage of being stuipid. It'll use whatever's on the bar, whether it's useful (or even harmful). My favorite is to go in with some AoE over time damage spells (firestorm is beautiful here). The mirror will cast it, just step out of the way. Cast yours and your mirror will stand there taking it up the rear.

My E/N whoops her mirror in easily less than 20 seconds everytime.

Only reason my fight lasted a while is because of the cast time of Meteor Shower. I also didn't change my skills at all for the fight. I just went in with what I normally use. 3 tries and I had him.

Let's see, it was Troll's Unguent (interrupted with distracting shot, as planned), Meteor Shower (kept him on the ground unable to attack), some attack haste skill and a Hunter's Shot or two and it was over.

the first time i fought my mirror, i equipped my most powerful skills as a Ranger. 15sec into the fight, i got owned! 2nd time i mixed my skills. lasted a bit longer, like 30sec but got my @ss beaten again. 3rd time i only equipped 3 skills; powershot, penetrating attack and savage shot. voila, kicked my mirror's image in 20sec.

actually whats even easier is equipping rituals that take forever to cast

Alright, keep in mind i used an elementalist / necro...

I had awaken the blood, blood renewal, flare, and firestorm.

He did things just the way i wanted it... he used firestorm just as i did in the first bit, then he used awaken the blood, and then sacrificed his health to death, all within the first 5-7 seconds... it was pure insanity... especially after having to figure out how to beat the monk mirror...

I was simply astounded at how well it worked... it was rather funny...

The first time I fought my mirror, it took between 10-12sec to waste it as a Mesmer. The road to victory?:

Backfire (3 spells) - 399dmg
Conjure Phantasm (7sec) - 35dmg
Shatter Delusions - 71dmg

Total HP of Mirror - 441
Total damage dealt - 505

The stunned look on my face after beating this much talked about quest

- Priceless

All I had to do was sidestep a Chaos Storm and take a Backfire hit from casting Shatter. It really was too easy. Not so easy with my Warrior though...
